Financial Aid

We offer several options to defray the cost of camp tuition for families attending Monkey Business Camp programs. These include: Flexible Personalized Payment Plans, Work/Exchange Opportunities for parents, Financial Assistance (Campership) and the inauguration of MBC's Stacy Raye Memorial Scholarship Fund, which will fund children who have been directly affected by cancer to attend summer camp.

- Arrange your own schedule for tuition payments. Our only request is that your tuition be paid in full by the last month noted on the forms, e.g. for summer payment plans, last day of September.

Work/Exchange Opportunities for Parents
Summer Only
- This arrangement requires slightly more proactive communication. Please click on the link above to view our application. We have laundry duty (tapestries, tablecloths, blankets), selling of T-shirts, delivery of perishables, pre-summer and post-summer clean up, etc. Trades are half or full. The work exchange positions takes place at the Monkey Business Camp Tilden Park summer site or the office, so only apply if this commuting works with your schedule.

Financial Assistance - Campership Application
As small as $40 off/week and up to $160.-Summer and School Break Camps
- Throughout the year, we ask for donations to our fund. Sometimes people round up their tuition by $10, sometimes by $50. We allot all of our funds to Campership Applicants. The amount of this fund varies from year to year. The Founding Directors also give money to the fund yearly.  If you think camp is in impossibility due to your financial situation, PLEASE APPLY!

Stacy Raye Memorial Scholarship
Summer Only
- We created the ongoing Stacy Raye Memorial Fund, which will support children affected by cancer to attend up to a month at Monkey Business and/or Girls on the Go Camp.  Contribute in honor of Stacy's memory, by sending a check to Stacy Raye Memorial Fund, 2880A Sacramento Street, Berkeley, CA 94702.
